BILL C-323 ON THE RULE OF LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS

The International Promotion and Protection of Human Rights Act, Bill C-323 amends the Federal Courts Act to permit non-residents of Canada to sue Canadian and other companies for human rights abuses, environmental disasters, and breaches of treaties.

BILL C-305 PUBLIC TRANSIT STRATEGY

An Act to establish a National Public Transit Strategy, Bill C-305 imposes an obligation on the Minister of Transportation to organize a coordinated effort to create a national public transit strategy and to quickly establish and implement a coordinated funding program.
